I have been serving all of North Georgia's legal needs since 1977, primarily Murray and Whitfield Counties. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 1966 and completed my Juris Doctor Degree from Mercer University in 1969. After which I served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 obtaining the rank of Captain. I worked as Special Assistant to Honorable Phil J. Landrum, Member of Congress, 1974-1976. Then I was the Assistant District Attorney, Conasauga Judicial Circuit, 1977.

I have spent my career in both civil and criminal law. Civil law includes issues such as personal injury, workers compensation, wrongful death, and family law.
